Graduated from the faculty of Applied Mathematics of the Yerevan Polytechnic Academy. He worked as an engineer-programmer at the Institute of Mathematical Machines in Armenia.
He was a political commentator on public television from 1991 to 1992.
1993-1994 he worked as a Senior Officer in the Military Policy Division of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.
From 2000 to 2004, he was the co-owner and managing director of the Mind publishing house. The main focus of activities was the preparation and publication of textbooks.
From 2001 to 2015 he worked as a Director of the Center of Cooperation for Democracy.
Since 2013 he was a Founder and Chief editor of Religions am website.
Since 2023 he is a Founder of the YouTube channel Conseptual Platform.
He is an author of more than 20 scientific articles and studies. As a keynote speaker and rapporteur, he has participated in several dozen international scientific conferences.
