In 1987 graduated from the Yerevan Polytechnic Academy, Department of Computing Machinery with a diploma of Systems Engineer. In 2008 graduated from the Financial Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation as Economist with specialization in finance and credits.
From 2019 until present he is the Head of Sales at SIA BETAMOL, LATVIA, managing export of various types of Russian sugar molasses. From 2012 to 2018 he was the Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of SIA “FEDERAL MOLASSES”, LATVIA. Previously he worked as Commercial Director of “MIKO” Ltd., importing European food to Russia (2009-2011); CEO of “Stels Sugar Trading” LLC, Moscow (2005-2007); Founder and Director of Sugar Industry Information Agency of Russia (1995-2004); General Manager of “Stock Ltd”, Moscow, managing the import of food products to Russia (1993-1995); Manager at Norabel LLC, Yerevan, Armenia (1990-1993). He started his career as a software engineer at the Yerevan Computer Research Institute (1987-1990). He is a member of the Russian Union of Sugar Producers.
He co-authored several publications and made presentations at a series of World Sugar International Conferences.
