Armenia does not belong only to those who live within its borders. It is the heart of every Armenian, from Yerevan to the worldwide Diaspora. With this understanding, a group of non-governmental organizations and concerned individuals came together to establish the Pan-Armenian Civil Society Alliance. The Alliance’s overarching goal is to unite Armenians around shared pro-Armenian principles articulated in the Pan-Armenian Declaration.

Sparapet was the highest military title in the Armenian kingdoms that was leading Armenian troops during wars but also strategizing and organizing defense of the country during peaceful times. This name was chosen to underscore that under the current circumstances Armenia must be strategically defended to keep its statehood and independence.
Armenian Center for Civic Initiatives Sparapet is a think-tank composed of experts working in their personal capacity. It is conceived as a non-profit organization.
